The Materials Research Society (MRS) inducts a select few new Fellows, annually. These are members of the society who exhibit the highest levels of dedication and achievement within their field. This year, Professor Yuntian Zhu, a researcher and professor at NC State, is among the 18 new Fellows selected this year. Zhu has won many awards during his time here at NC State, and is a prime example of what the MRS looks for in their Fellows – that is, those “whose remarkable accomplishments are highlighted by their brief citations.”
