Visit MSE

Planning a visit to NC State University? Why not include a tour of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering as a part of your day!

MSE Undergraduate Ambassadors will take you on a personal guided tour through our state-of-the-art facilities in Engineering Building I while giving you an in-depth overview of what it is like to be an undergraduate student in MSE.

Tours are subject to the availability of our MSE Undergraduate Ambassadors and can be scheduled during business hours, Monday – Friday. Tours typically last approximately 45 minutes. Once you submit the form, you will receive a follow-up email confirmation with the details of your scheduled tour including the date, time, and directions. Please allow 1-2 business days for a response.

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering is located in Engineering Building I (EB1) on Centennial Campus. Tours start in the 3rd-floor Atrium of EB1 outside of the MSE Suite.
