We are very pleased to announce the newest additions to our cadre of prestigious graduate fellowship winners. Alexandria Cruz and Preston Bowes were recently awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship, joining five other MSE graduate students with this distinction: Matthew Burch, Houston Dycus, Richard Floyd, Everett Grimley and Jessica Nash. We will also be welcoming Trent Borman into our PhD program next fall, and he was also awarded an NSF fellowship, bringing the total to eight.
The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GFRP) is one of the oldest and most prestigious fellowship programs in the U.S. and provides students with three years of financial support to pursue their graduate degree.
