Professor Donald Brenner Named 2024 MRS Fellow

Donald Brenner, Kobe Steel Distinguished Professor in the North Carolina State University Department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE), has been named a 2024 Materials Research Society (MRS) fellow. This prestigious honor recognizes Brenner for his pioneering contributions to materials modeling and his broader impact on the materials community, including studies that have helped shape major research directions in the United States.

MSE Visual Competition Results

The NC State MSE department recently hosted its second visual competition as a way to foster positive morale and encourage a supportive spirit for faculty, staff, and students. After a competitive and nail-biting review by the judging panel, the winners have been selected and we are excited to announce them. Two winners were selected for the main competition.
