Researchers have explained the reasoning behind increased efficiency of mixed halide perovskites in solar cells. In-situ experimentation has shed light on the formation and evolution of crystalline compounds during the synthesis of cesium and rubidium containing perovskites. These studies were conducted by an international team with significant contributions from Hoang Dang and Masoud Ghasemi within the Amassian Research Group.
