MSE AmbassadorsThis is a paid departmental position. The MSE ambassadors are undergraduate students that develop leadership and professional skills while representing the department at events such as University Open House and the College of Engineering Information Sessions and Tours. They also foster a sense of community within the department by organizing events and group chats for all MSE undergraduate students. | Material AdvantageMaterial Advantage (MA) is the premier national organization for students in materials science and engineering. The local MA chapter at NC State has a strong focus on providing current students with materials-related career and professional development opportunities, and it benefits from its location in the Research Triangle and from a strong alumni base. The annual membership fee is $30. |
