Dr. Briana Vogen is a postdoctoral research in Dr. LaBean's group. Briana received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Duke University in 2010, which focused on catalytic and biocatalytic microcontact printing. Her current research interests in the LaBean lab include surface functionalization and placement of DNA origami on patterned surfaces, controlled metallization of DNA origami, and the manipulation of non-traditional viral DNA templates for use in DNA origami structures.
