I am currently focused on the design, construction, and analysis of self-assembling DNA nanostructures, specifically scaffolded DNA origami. By harnessing "bottom-up" fabrication using DNA-based nanostructured materials, I hope to exploit their precise, nanometer-scale organization to study cellular processes, to develop novel biomedical devices, and to direct assembly of other materials for biomedical applications.
