Amir Kajbafvala Wins IEEE CSC Graduate Fellowship

Amir Kajbafvala, a PhD candidate in Materials Science and Engineering, won the 2012 IEEE Council on Superconductivity Graduate Fellowship in Applied Superconductivity. The IEEE awards this fellowship “. . . annually to a full-time graduate student pursuing a PhD degree in the area of applied superconductivity at an accredited college or university of recognized standing worldwide. The intention of the award is to encourage students to enter and contribute to the field of applied superconductivity.”* The award was presented at the 2012 Applied Superconductivity Conference in Portland.
