- Hillary Stone, Academic Advisor, was nominated for Human Relations
- George Martell, IT and Safety/Security Manager, was nominated for Efficiency and Innovation

Standout nominee, Hillary Stone, was selected to advance to the university-level Awards for Excellence, a testament to her exceptional contributions and commitment to fostering positive human relations within the MSE department.

Department head Don Brenner, Communicator Niki Jennings, and the 2023 Award of Excellence winner, University Program Specialist Berni Premachandra were in the audience to cheer them on.
