The Material Science and Engineering department is proud to announce this year’s recipient of the Pride of the Wolfpack award is our very own George Martell. The Pride of the Wolfpack Award recognizes individual employees for a special or unique contribution to their college, business unit, or NC State University. George has worked diligently over the span of his career here improving the college and working hard to ensure safety for all. During the pandemic, he worked tirelessly to design a safety plan for the college of engineering that has ensured the continuation of safe research and practices that have kept our labs free from COVID. George exemplifies an outstanding employee and we are proud to have him as part of Material Science and Engineering. Let us all congratulate George Martel on this outstanding award!
