Mailings to the MSE Department can be sent to the lists shown below.

If you are a member of the list you are sending mail to, your mail will go directly to the recipients. If not, it will be denied. This is done in an effort to prevent spam to the lists.

If you must send mail to a list, contact the Webmaster with your request.

Mailing List Commands

• To see a list of your subscriptions, send an email to mj2@lists.ncsu.edu from your subscribed email address with the following as the body of the email:

  show my_email_address@ncsu.edu

• If the address that is subscribed to the list (the one that shows up in the departmental directory) has an alias, you can get the mailing list to recognize that alias:

  1. Go to the Majordomo List Interface
  2. Click on the Subscriber Interface button (top left)
  3. Sign in (you may need to register first)
  4. Click the "Unsubscribe or Change Settings" at the top
  5. Scroll down to the "Other email address" heading and enter your alternate email address
  6. Click the "alias" button
