Driving Directions

Driving Directions from the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) to Engineering Building I

  1. Take I-40 East (~10 mins).
  2. Take Exit 295, Gorman Street.
  3. At the stoplight at the bottom of the exit ramp turn left onto Gorman Street.
  4. Go to Avent Ferry Road (second stoplight) and take a right (Hardees will be on your left).
  5. Go to Varsity Drive (second stoplight) and take a right. This is the entrance to NCSU Centennial Campus.
  6. You may stop at the Visitor's Center (one block straight ahead) if you need a temporary parking permit.
  7. Take Varsity Drive, past the four way stop, to the end of the road.
  8. Take a left, the parking deck is immediately to your left.

Parking

There is a daily parking fee of $2 for campus visitors, including workshop and seminar attendees. Visitors can purchase a parking permit at the Centennial Campus Visitor's Center (see above for directions). For more information about visitor parking see the NCSU Transportation home page.
