Current Research Projects

He is pursuing his Ph.D., researching the growth of thick gallium nitride films. He plans to graduate in 2004.

After graduating with a BS Chemical Engineering degree from Lafayette
College, Will worked for two years as an Applications Engineer at ATMI,
Inc. in Danbury, CT. Will moved on to a position with Chilworth
Technology in Plainsboro, NJ, where he performed safety audits of many
different manufacturing processes, paying particular attention to the
hazards posed by static electricity. He also got some hands-on laboratory
experience, which coupled with a keen interest in semiconductors, led him
back to the academic world.
