Professional Experience

Elif Bayboru joined North Carolina State University in the Fall of 2001 and she is a doctoral student in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. She is also a member of the Wide Bandgap Materials.

Before joining this group at North Carolina State University, Elif Bayboru studied on “Hydrogen Storage Materials and Measurement of Their Hydrogen Sorption Properties” under the supervision of Dr. Tayfur Ozturk in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey.

Current Research Projects

Elif's research effort involves growth and characterization of bulk GaN crystals.
